About fixing your
computer...
Computers are very complicated. But, it is usually a small, simple problem
that can make things go bad. When something doesn't work, here are a few general
tips for correcting the problem:
First and foremost - Make sure that everything is plugged tightly into the
computer, in the correct place.
Reboot your machine - You would be amazed at ow many problems this solves.
In Win 98, ME, & XP you can
run a utility called msconfig. Click on start, then run and type msconfig
and hit enter. Go to the startup tab and look at
the programs that start when you boot your computer. Any programs that don't
need to start on bootup take the checkmark out of the box on the left. If
you
change your mind you can always go back and put the check-mark in again.
Make sure your virus defintions are up to date!
